IT IS HOT, HOT, HOT!

We have stopped off at Eucla after driving in 50 degree heat! There have been heaps of broken down cars towing caravans and trailers along the way. Some were already on tray trucks. I stopped to help two lots of travellers, but unfortunately one car (A Range Rover) was terminal with engine oil and water running out from everywhere! We left them some cold water and called help for them when we reached the Mundrabilla Roadhouse about 60km east of their breakdown, then we asked a westbound traveller to check on them, and let them know help was coming. No phone service can be fatal in this heat! Our Zuki has been absolutely amazing in these extreme conditions, but I didn't want to push the boundaries, so we have pulled up stumps for today and we are staying behind the Eucla Roadhouse for the night. We have been very surprised at the amount of travellers heading west, very few going east like us. Tomorrow we plan to leave early to try and beat the heat and hopefully reach Ceduna in South Australia.
