IT IS HOT, HOT, HOT! We have stopped off at Eucla after driving in 50 degree heat! There have been heaps of broken down cars towing caravans and trailers along the way. Some were already on tray trucks. I stopped to help two lots of travellers, but unfortunately one car (A Range Rover) was terminal with engine oil and water running out from everywhere! We left them some cold water and called help for them when we reached the Mundrabilla Roadhouse about 60km eas...

It's nearly 9pm so we decided to pull up for the night at the Balladonia Roadhouse. Its been very hot weather today over 40 degrees and plenty of flies! This morning we found a baby Galah on the road, it must have fallen out of the nest and was very weak. Unfortunately it didn't make it and died on the way! I'm very sad as he was doing well and had a lot of character. We plan to make Eucla or the Border tomorrow.

Stopped at the big BP for a sandwich and a drink around 6pm before driving on to Baladonia.

Very hot through here! Everything going well.

We arrived safely back in York late this afternoon, where we plan to stay till the new year.
