Last night the wind finally died down and it ended up being quite a cool night, we even put the heater on this morning! We have had temperatures up into the high 30's for the last few months, so we are feeling the cool weather more than some, but it is a welcome relief. The wind on the other hand is difficult to get used to! The caravan park we stayed at in Port Denison provided pancakes with tea and coffee for all the patrons of the park this morning, which was really nice, so we filled our stomaches before we left!
On the way down the coast we stopped for morning tea at Green Head, which was beautiful, and then continued on to check out Jurien Bay.
We arrived at Jurien Bay about lunchtime and checked out the waterfront. There is a caravan park here and directly in front it has a beautiful beach with a fairly new jetty with a very new playground out front as well. Apart from the high winds here it is beautiful so we have decided to stay here for a couple of nights. This afternoon while we were sitting out front of our van we saw the German couple that we had seen along the way since Exmouth and that we had farewelled in Kalbarri, drive in to this caravan park. We thought that they would already be in Perth. Gundolf had not yet taken a photo of a beautiful sunset, so we spent some time with them this evening out on the waterfront taking photos of the sunset over the water, which turned out to be beautiful, Gundolf and Gabi were very happy because they leave for Germany this week! They are a fun couple. In the morning we will have a cuppa with them before they leave. Tonight the wind has died down a bit which is good!
