We arrived in Carnarvon this afternoon. We only plan to stay here for one night and continue further south to Monkey Mia tomorrow. Western Australia has amazed me with the amount of desert there is, I think the whole state is a massive desert! We really didn't expect this, maybe we are being naive but it really is much different to what we expected, less beautiful in general but has little gems scattered down the coast, that are spectacular. Actually another odd thing is that you need to turn off the main highway to get into the beautiful towns or any town at all really, as there is usually nothing, and I mean NOTHING except for maybe a small roadhouse between stops. We are now coming into the more populated parts if WA so the distances between stops will be much closer. Also today our Zuki clocked over 200,000km on the clock and continues to perform brilliantly towing the van in extreme heat and high winds, we're very happy with it!
