This afternoon we made it to Perth covering just over 18,000km for our trip so far! The last few days have been very easy driving with the towns very close together along the coast. We have been blessed to be able to set up our caravan at Kellie's sister's In-law's house in the quaint historic town of York about an hour east of Perth City. While we are here I will service our Zuki which has worked very hard since Darwin, and our tyres have seen better days too, so hopefully we can get a set of good cheap tyres and a wheel alignment for the Zuki as well. I had rotated our tyres in Broome hoping to get home on them, but with our heavy load on the hot roads the tread has disappeared very quickly over the last 4,000km! Our Zuki has performed much better than expected and the caravan tows beautifully making the last 18,000km travel a real pleasure.
