Thanks for all the comments - we do appreciate them!!
Not much to report on today. Yesterday we went to Bunbury again and had lunch in a Chinese restaurant which was lovely. The food was delicious and slightly different to Chinese restaurants in England.
Mick went out with Vylic (Maureen's husband) in the afternoon so I decided to go for a walk along the beach. I walked for 20 minutes along the beach to a groyne, turned round and walked back again and I must have passed no more than a dozen people. The sea was like a millpond but still quite cold. By the time I got back I had raised a sweat (Mick always tells me I yomp!!) but felt much better.
Today Maureen and I have been shopping for food in Woolworths and then we looked around the town centre shops. There are no big shops like Chelmsford but a range of smaller shops and an arcade.
Mick has gone with Vylic again to assist with a job he has to do so I think I might sit outside and read as it is not that hot, just like an English summer day. People here don't sit outside at all but I need to be in the fresh air, depending on the heat.
Tomorrow we are off to a BBQ because it is Australia Day so that will be intereting. The people have a spa so I'm sure we'll be sitting in there sipping some alcoholic beverage (in moderation of course!) and eating sausages and maybe kangaroo steaks!
Hope it is warming up over there.

Chris We aren't in the least jealous.......lovely and warm here......0 degrees here at the moment and more snow foreacst for tomorrow! All fun - I fell on the ice yesterday, Joshy been very poorly and Andrew's scan showed gallstones amongst other things :( As I said - all fun!! Take care!! xx
Carol Barmes We had about 5 cm of snow overnight and Lottie couldn't get to her Mini Horse Show Jumping event because the side roads are treacherous. Took Mike out for lunch yesterday as it was his birthday (thanks for the card very apt!) and forgot my money! Ben away for a few days at his mates so all is fairly peaceful. My Meerkats just come ordered one off ebay, getting clever aren't I? Everyone thinks I am barmy but I love them see them all the time on Corrie of course. I've got Maiya with a certificate. The kids say she looks like me with her glasses and a cardy. Sounds a wonderful time you are having a good mix of peace, relaxation and lovely places to visit Keep enjoying Carol, Mike and the gang
