Hi

Here is the beginning of Busselton pier, the longest in the world (one and a quarter miles long), now that Southend has lost it's end!! It has been refurbished recently and like Southend has a train to the end where there is an underwater marine world. We are booked for a train ride on Wednesday. The sea looked very tranquil but as yet we have not been in swimming - SHARK warning (only joking!!). Actually there are sharks just down the road but we will be careful. Can I trust Mick to keep watch for me??

Everyone here is so friendly and we have visited some friends one of whom was with Mick in the C.M.F. (Citizens Military Forces - equivalent to the Terries) 40 years ago. They chatted for ages about the old days.
