I am interested in applying for your University Teaching Position at Suncheon National University. I hold a valid E2 Visa, am Tesol Certified, and have been teaching Public Middle School in Daegu for the last three years.

I also have experience teaching Adults as a Guest Lecturer at the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education Teacher Training Institute, an "English Buddy" School Board 12 Wk Teacher Training Program, and Teacher Conversation Classes at each of the schools I worked at. Previously I worked in the Insurance Industry and have extensive experience training Adults in a Business Environment and Public Speaking.

I have been recognized for my passion of writing and exploring Korea and am Official Foreign Blogger for The City of Daegu, and contributing writer for The Korea Blog run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. I have also had articles published in local expat publication 'Daegu Compass'.

In addition I have completed Daegu YMCA Level 4 Korean Conversation Classes and have language exchange partners with students at Daegu Health College. I have a flexible easy going personality and make friends well with students from children to adults. I was Canada Team Leader at a weekend Global Festival organized by the DMOE responsible for planning, organizing, and running weekend activities for Elementary-High School Students.

I am familiar with Suncheon and Jeollanamdo having visited Yeosu Expo, Boseong Tea Fields, and Songwanggsa Temple nearby.
