20 Oct 2011
Since starting my quiet little blog for friends just over a year ago I'm surprised by how its grown and reached audiences I wouldnt have ever imagined. This weeks 20,000+ milestone co-incides with two events; my free trip to Jeju Island as one of the most active bloggers on TheKoreaBlog, and a featured article in the school newspaper on my blog.
Some of the blog stats are surprising. Since joining TheKoreaBlog in March 2011 my page hits more than doubled. This hit its peak during the Daegu IAAF games in August when page views spiked the most.
Visitors are from many diverse parts of the world. The most visited story is my three day trip to Jeju in May 2011, followed by my trip to Japan end of Feb 2011. I've had correspondance with people in different countries asking me about my travels.
The most startling results are my most visited photos. By far the greatest lead is for 'Akihabara Manga Porn' from my visit to Japan. The picture is just of bookshelves in a manga magazine shop but just shows what people are looking for in internet searches.
Other sexual results included in the top ten photos are female sex sculptures at Loveland in Jeju, Pay Per View porn brochure from my hotel in Osaka, and a business card for hookers at my motel in Busan.
My school also decided to do a feature on my blog (without even talking to me or telling me about it!). The Vice Principal is always excited to hear about the perks I get such as my trip to Changwadae the Presidential Palace in March, a Press Pass to the Daegu IAAF Games in August, and my three day trip to Jeju Island this weekend.
Finally, I just had another massive spike from last weekends Asia Song Festival with more than 50,000+ views of my video!!!
Thank You to everyone for stopping by !! :D
