This keeps coming up in different discussion threads so thought I'd put together some info again on where to get Indian/Pakistani Spices and Halal Meat in Daegu

The Bukbu bus terminal is located in the west end of the city near the Paldal bridge to Chilgok and Bisan Branch E-Mart, close to Paldal Market and Seodaegu Bus Terminal. It does not have a subway stop so you have to figure out the bus to get there

This blog has some info on bus routes to get there. I know 427 from Jungangno will go inside the bus terminal in both directions, 724 will only go inside when travelling southbound from Chilgok.

The main approach road into the intercity bus terminal has several grocery stores. They are mostly Pakistani owned and have brand name spices imported from Pakistan (National & Shaan). There are other UK manufacturers we get back home but they only carry the Pakistani brands here, as well as halal meat. For the most part its pretty much like any indian grocery store you will find in the UK or North America.

On one side of the street is Ali Baba a Tourist Board approved Pakistani restaurant. They will do a variety of lamb and chicken biriyani rice dishes, curries, tandoori chicken, and crispy naan bread. They also have a pakistani satellite tv channel (usually news, sometimes tv dramas). I've found this to be a hang out place for local pakistani men so you wont always see customers and will have to call someone to get served. They do not serve meals during Ramadan (the month of fasting) and will only cater to the mosque around the corner for the end of fast meals.

The Bukbu Mosque is at the end of the approach street back on the main road. Its mostly used by Pakistanis. The Indonesian Mosque is near Seongseo Industrial Complex on the green line. The main mosque used by other nationalities (Uzbek, Turks) is north of Jukjeon Station. The mosque is usually empty except for prayer times. I dont think they will mind you coming in for a look but have appropriate clothing for a religious building. There are nicer mosques in Busan and Seoul.

Finally, I also discovered they have Pakistani sweets (mithai) in the grocery stores at Bukbu. Pictured below is Jalebi, Luddos, Gulab Jaman, and Gajar Halwa. I think I paid 5000w for a packet. It wasnt the best taste as they're not fresh made, but will fix your need if your having a craving.
