Harön is a small island just off the mainland, it is uninhabited except for 6 very friendly sheep. The are 2 small jetties, we tied up on the more southerly one. We were the only visiting yacht, maybe something to do with the channels to get here are marked as 1.6 M clearance, we draw 1.5 m. We got in without any dramas. Our trip round the edge of the bay was done all under engine in F1/2, beautiful sunshine all the way, another day of motoring 40 NM. Simrishamn is a medieval town and has a large harbour, it's the ultimate transit port. It lies on the edge of the Hano Banken (the Swedish bay of biscay) a bay of some 50 odd NM across, often with bad weather. Last year we crossed it direct to unclippen but this year with no wind forecast we are going to go round past Hano to a natural harbour called Tärno a distance of 40 NM
