We hadn't sussed out the moutain biking the day before and with soo many people around it was all getting a bit much so..... We drove the car to a small village, parked up got the bikes out and decided to check out all these beautiful villages by bike, a lot quicker and less stressful, we could ride along the river tracks a lot of the time, through walnut groves and a bit of quiet road riding to get us to each of the villages, they are all same, same BUT different with their own beauty. We visited, Bezenac, Beyenac, Castelnaud, Domme, a total of 48km's, up and down, round and about.
We had a fantastic day with some big hill challenges and great downhills, I loved wandering the french countryside by bike, the drivers here are so respectful, they wait behind you until it is safe for them to pass and give you a wide berth - not like kiwi drivers trying to knock you off the road.
I'll let the photo's tell the story.
