We rode our bikes from our hosts place on the canal du robine to the train station, making sure we were early as we were not quite sure how or where the bikes needed to go on the train. Its all so simple, they book your seats in the same carriage as you put the bikes in, there were only 4 places for bikes to be hung up and not easy to get them into place, we had a french guy help us as he seemed to have the knack! We had a great day today sorting out our things and packing our paniers for our great adventure. There is something very freeing about not having much other than biking gear, a few changes of clothes, toilet bag and of course a girl has to take her hair dryer!!!!! Can't believe it myself that I am taking my hair dryer but yep I am. I cant be a grot after cycling all day I have to have a shower, clean clothes and a fluffy pillow - so I am not that hard out...
