Day 78 - Tue 5 Jun - Murchison to Wakefield

We went to the butchers this morning - we remember the lovely meat we got last time we were here…. However it was not to be today - catchup day after the long weekend so just got bacon. We were last away this morning as there was a queue for the dump station! The fog/low cloud persisted until we went over the Hope Saddle and into sunny Nelson/Tasman area. We are staying at Higgins Heritage Park in Wakefield - it's like a gigantic Menz Shed with lots of groups using the buildings for the vehicles they're restoring. There's even a piece of the Wahine's anchor chain and an old wooden horsedrawn ambulance!
