- Fri 23 March - New Plymouth

Today the caravan service check was done. We dropped it off at MeritRV about 9am and then had to fill in the morning and part of the afternoon as till it was ready. We spent a bit of time at Paritutu Rock and the Port area before going to see the movie "Finding Your Feet". Great movie - lots of laughs but some very moving moments as well. We had some lunch at the Art Café in the theatre complex and got a call soon after to pick up the van.

We had already decided to stay another night at Huatoki site just to check the frig etc was all in going order. Just as well - it was still not fixed! That will have to sorted out in the morning - the yard is open Sat 10am - 12pm. Not happy campers tonight!
