Day 46 - Fri 04 May - Gore

It was an earlyish start as we headed down the road to Mataura this morning to visit Ray and Francesca. They were living in Balfour the last time we caught up with them. Their gardens were thriving with Ray's care and attention. Ros was able to give Francesca some help with her computer too. It was after lunch before we headed back to do our laundry at the campsite. We got some dry but the rest will have to wait till tomorrow. Our evening meal was across the road at the Town and Country Club - one of the few we've had out. The club was very busy and we were happy with our meals - lamb shanks for Bruce and crumbed cod for Ros.
