Day 26 - Sat 14 April - Cromwell to Arrow Junction
We had a late start today as we had been up watching the Commonwealth Games till late. Well done to our Silver Girls!
The plan is to stay at Arrow Junction (CAP), a place we stayed at 6 years ago. There were a couple of photo opportunities on our way through the Kawarau Gorge and it was only a trip of 30 minutes or so from Cromwell to Arrow Junction. There was an increase in rental vehicles, motorhomes, campervans etc on the road as we got closer to Queenstown. We are parked at the foot of the Crown Range Road which is very busy during the day but quietens down at night.
