Day 282, 12 April 2013, Whistler, B.C. Packing Day. Cleaning Day. Did I mention it was Packing Day? We've been playing house for a month and the bags were well and truly unpacked during that time. We had thought about getting in a morning's skiing today... but lucky we didn't as the packing up and cleaning up took most of the day. By late afternoon, the laundry was finally finished and we were settled in watching a murder mystery and gazing at the snow that had been falling since lunchtime. It didn't start to settle until well in the evening - looks like there will be a winter wonderland outside when we wake up tomorrow. There is something very sad about the end of a stay such as this... mainly the season passes burning a hole in our ski jackets! But the adventure of a lifetime continues and tomorrow we're off to Vancouver and then on to the US of A. Incredible.
PS. Given we were trapped in the condo all day packing, cleaning and avoiding going out into wet snow, found this fabulous photo of Whistler Village at it's finest - truly has been magical staying in such a fairytale spot for so long - can only imagine how pretty it is at Christmas.
