Day 260, 21 March 2013, Whistler, B.C. Slowly but surely we are getting on the mountain earlier in the day. James devised a cunning plan today (a plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel). He was up early and started cooking breakfast at 7 am. Hmmmm. Turkey bacon! So we stepped onto the snow at 9.30 am - before you know it, we'll be on the first gondola of the day. Explored some new runs and kept out of trouble - planning to take a guided tour of Whistler mountain tomorrow - it's taken 4 days of skiing to get the legs to the level of two or more hours zipping around the mountain in a group! Suspect by the weekend (officially gazetted rest day(s) for us non-grownups) we'll be completely ready to conquer the mountains (Whistler AND Blackcomb). On a separate note... James is baking a pumpkin pie tonight. First time ever! Photos will follow. All going well.
(Pictured with friends in yesterday's powder - 32 cm in 24 hours in the end - phew!)
