Day 281, 11 April 2013, Whistler, B.C. Brrrrrr.... freezing level down to 900m and the ski runs were initially like sloping ice rinks but they softened up after a while and we had a great morning skiing together. James took off on a tour and I took off home - ecstatic to finish on a high note. James's mountain host was a very keen skier who made their 1.5 - 2 hour session last 3 hours! Not bad for a free tour! I think we can officially say there's not much of the mountain he hasn't seen and seen fast - this lady only made two stops on each run - one at the top and one at the bottom - so his final day on the mountain was a huge success. Can't believe we've been here almost a month. The kitchen is starting to resemble Mother Hubbard's B&B - on current estimates our last meal will completely empty out the fridge, just prior to us walking out the door - well planned indeed.
