Day 269, 30 March 2013, Whistler, B.C. Rest Day. It was Baby O'Clock at 2.30 am today. Grocery Day. Went for a Walk Day (condos pictured from our golf course next door). Visited the Post Office Day (no joy - returned our mail to sender....). AND spent the afternoon watching Flash Mob videos on Youtube. What, pray tell, is a Flash Mob? It's when a bunch of people get together in a public place and do something amazing, to the utter amazement of innocent bystanders. That's our personal definition. So if you've not heard of them, that's OK - we only discovered the concept a couple of years ago and it occurred to us today to have another listen to one of our favourites - filmed in Barcelona shortly before we were there last year (Banco Sabadell). Which in turn led us to this pretty cool website which lists the best orchestral flashmobs around - highly recommend following the link or cutting and pasting - these are amazing, top notch performances and have given us both the urge to visit a symphony performance in the not too distant future. Particularly enjoyed the one performed in the Westbahnhof station in Vienna, Austria as we were there just a couple of months ago. Drop us a message if you enjoy these as much as we have.
