The plan? A whole year of Not Being Grownups as our frequent flyer miles/points took us around the world. We wanted to cross as many things off our 'One Day' lists as possible. And we succeeded beyond our wildest dreams - 35 countries, 20 states of the USA, 3 waterfalls, 3 hot air balloons, the Pyramids, Sphinx and Abu Simbel, Cappadocia, The Colosseum, Pompeii and Carnevale in Venice, Machu Picchu, dog sledding in Whistler, an air boat in the Florida everglades, West End Shows, Br…

And we succeeded beyond our wildest dreams - 35 countries, 20 states of the USA, 3 waterfalls, 3 hot air balloons, the Pyramids, Sphinx and Abu Simbel, Cappadocia, The Colosseum, Pompeii and Carnevale in Venice, Machu Picchu, dog sledding in Whistler, an air boat in the Florida everglades, West End Shows, Broadway shows, Ballet and the symphony in Europe, cruised the Nile, the Danube and the Caribbean and took trains in Morocco, Egypt, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia and all around the USA. We saw old friends and made many new ones. What's the plan now? Still need to see Russia, India, the Northern Lights and Antarctica - and take many more wonderful trains in exotic spots around the world. Reach out and say hello - we may be in your country soon.

Enjoying being back in Skye, much walking as the weather has been very good cold but blue skies 14 mile treks. had I &K for dinner on Fri. so a good night. Bought a Picquot ware sugar bowl/ milkjug for £5 in junkyard in Broadford the other day worth nearly £100 so a good find. glad you are having such a great time in Whistler my daughter loved it for skiing. Have you made a chocolate martini yet Ian's sure are good. Karen sang for us Friday so talented that girl xx
