Everyone had a lie in this morning and a very slow start. I sat and read outside surrounded by wallabies and magpies and eventually we got through the breakfast marathon and spent the morning doing schoolwork. We approached it slightly differently today with Nick and I taking a son each for the morning and then after lunch I spent some time working with Anna while Nick worked with Katharine. It took a lot longer and was harder on Nick and I but it was good for all the kids to have some concentrated time. Nick made jaffles on the fire for lunch and once all schoolwork was done we went for a walk through the bush and found two koalas. We had an early dinner of curry and got everyone into bed where they passed out quickly. Nick and I started watching 'The Killing' - very good and a bit spooky. Half way through watching it Nick jumped out of bed as he'd seen a light outside our door. Four backpackers had just pulled in and were sitting eating around our table!!
