17 kms with lite shade and no potable water.

Up earli ish awAy by six fifty. Talked to hugh as I was leaving town. Not a good nights sleep mattress soft and saggy a I kept rolling on to my back and waking myself snorking. Another lesson in humbleness. People again getting up before five. Why why why. Not a hot day just long and flat on rural roads.

Feet ok but will throw away my boots. I don't know why I am waiting. They make my feet hot and soft. Need to by some cross trainers at next opportunity.

I booked a room in a Hostal. Sick of dormitories. Victor that I walked with yesterday stayed at the albergue feeling sick. He wanted medication I gave him a couple of omeprazole but he was going to talk to his fiancée a qualified doctor. Hope he catches up soon.

Had a rest down to eat some tortilla. A beer and meet Mike and Gilda (US) Adele and Robbie (Aus). Thinking of having another nap. I seem to be unbelievably tired today. So pleased to have booked in to a Hostal. Sitting outside watching a storm approach. Rain forecast for the next 30 hours. It will certainly be an experience.

I seem to be in phase with some interesting and fun people. Hopefully it lasts.
