Day 11. Break for breakfast. 11:00 to 12:00
The cover photo today from a village of 20 with a very pretty church. Today Corpus Christi maybe should be on Thursday but they get help from other parishes and use their gear. Policies Civil in attendance. Can't get used to the sidearms.

Was walking with Inga from Germany. Stopped for something to eat after going into the church. Something was obviously afoot so stayed to watch the procession. Men did all the important jobs of flag carrying and shouldering the image of the saint. Then mostly middle aged women following singing. Then supporters in all shapes and sizes not so many children.

Children are openly loved and cherished but only seem to come in ones and twos. Villages are ageing and dying. Many vende signs about. Apparently there was a huge development boom and bust and now many empty new buildings as well.
