Walking again today with Emily from Stockholm. An engineer talked about solar power ,'electric cars and wether religion is motivating.
My toes are a bit blistered and it is .5 km to the sport shop and no guarantee they have woollen socks. I sent stuff I have not been wearing on to Barcelona not so much for the weight but because I am weary of packing and unpacking it.
Sitting in a bar restaurants and have order some paella and something starting with b. no idea what it is. I was here just after 10 and in an albergue four in a room share a bathroom, luxury. Hope they don't put three non English speaking men in with me.
Most walkers from Viana have gone on for another for another thirteen ks. Ah well I have socks to buy.
News break the b thing was fish not unlike hoki I have seen hake on the menu in Spain. The paella was delicious. This is the biggest meal I have had in three days. Off to buy socks. Surprise surprise the outdoor shop was shut. I suppose more than one pair of socks is vanity. Sent away about a kilo so smaller and lighter pack.
I lost some keys today only a 15 E problem but I am sunburned and feel a bit flat. I wish the blisters would heal. I don't cover them cos it all falls off and rubs in other places. Worry a little about infection really can be nasty and end peoples walk. Thank goodness for betadine.
I love the walking but feel a little isolated and awkward in town.
Tomorrow will be different. C
