Day 29. Molinseca to Columbrianos 18 kms. Easy walking but again too late leaving.

Poor Hugh missed his flight and the Hotel sold his room and then the train was full. Currently on a bus due to arrive around 9:00am.

As I was planning to meet Hugh in Ponferada I had a sleep in and left at 10:00am. Molinseca is a pretty town with a beautiful river full of bathers. Ponferada was also pretty and ugly with a wedding in the Basilica. I watch the guests and the bride arrive. Nug lots of cool dudes in blue suits with beautiful girls in short skirts and various tan lines. Really could have been NZ.

I really cocked up the booking and am staying on a truck stop. I got on top of a motorway with no road to the place I was going. I sensibly decided to use my arse. At least I wouldn't break anything. Slid down through fennel blackberry biddinids and briar rose to a gravel road below. Believe me the fennel is the best. I was hot dirty and grumpy by the time I hit to the truck stop. The woman still made me wait ten minutes to book in.

Hey but it is great to be back on my own. Julio and Lisette went on to sort Marie's financial issues. I walk when I wanted and lay on a park bench when I wanted.

It is hard to find balance. Definately in the mountain area. The hills are easier now but not sure if I am ready for mountains. However I am Strong rCamino woman so we will see. Really want to see Hugh tomorrow.
