Day38. Palas de Rei to Boente. A farewell dinner with Lisette and Julio. Really nice evening. Glad I met them and spent time with them.

Away just after 8;00 made good progress. Fog lifted earlier today and it got warm from about 9,30. Lots of shade and old sunken paths to walk on woods to walk through. Very lucky.

Lunch at Melide. Nice woman complaining of the heat. The Galician Carribean she said. No real rainin Galicia for 55 days. Something of a record I think. Well hope it lasts for another four days.

In an albergue with a room and bathroom of our own. Waiting for things to cool down.

Drinking heaps of water. Still having a good time.
