I'm proud of my little tree. its not much but I do love it.. and at least it is something.. I am struggling.. I didn't think I was going to but I am. I have even thought about putting a flight on my credit card but I can't do that.. I can't afford it and its just not the thing to do.. I am excited to be here though.. and I will have to get used to many more Christmasses by myself. but a little inginuity (along with tape, dont forget the tape!) and I have made myself a rather nice looking little tree and I even have some presents to put underneath it.. Presents from Gramma and Grampa, Rachel, Moses, Lynnie & Brady and of course from Mom. I have recieved several cards too but those are on my cork board. Right above where I sleep.. I tend to look at the pictures on the outside and flip them open when I'm sitting there in bed. I am still working on Christmas Presents believe it or not. lol.. I thought I was done for the most part but these are secret presents that I've been working on and deciding I didn't like so changing.. I'm can never be pleased when it comes to yarn. lol

this weekend I've been ill.. not a fun time.. especially because it has snowed and I wasn't able to go outside and play in it like I wanted to. but I am most definately better. and the next time it snows I WILL go out and play in it like the 5 year old in me that is trying to break out of its chains. lol.

I've been listening to Christmas music all day long.. and pretty much for a week. Wheatabix I know doesn't approve but whatever she knows I'm going to do it anyway.. and I think it makes her smile a little on the inside :)

I am super excited to open presents! I am even more excited for people at home to open their presents from me :) the idea of it makes me giggle.. I think I did really good this year :)I didn't spend too much and really I would have rather made things but I knew that wasn't practical plus its all cool shizz from Scotland :) who doesn't want cool shizz from Scotland?

So here I sit in the dark, I angled the laptop so I can look at my tree while I type.. I'm such a dork but I am alright with that.

anyhow... I should think about hitting the hay... nite all :)
