Its finally happened.. I feel like Christmas.. I've had a hard time of it so far.. I usually start feeling Christmas at the beginning of the month and I get excited.. but this year I have dreadded it :( However, I am going somewhere for Christmas.. I am going over to my friends house for xmas night :) it should be tons of fun!! we will most def make it lots of fun! :) Also, I woke up to snow today! it wasn't sticking but I saw it in the air.. even though technically in Scotland it wasn't snow.. it was hail but I think its close enough for government work to call it snow. So it kinda snowed off and on all day long.. and I actually got up and went and got work done! finally! I fell ill last night though which wasn't exactly a pleasure.. but I am feeling slightly better now.. but I'm glad I got my work done..

I also decided to make cookies and scones for class. However, my brilliant idea of piping benzene rings onto the cookies using icing didn't go so well.. I couldn't get the mixture right so I just decided squiggly lines were in store.. next time I make class cookies.. (valentines day) I will actually go out and get a cookie cutter and probably make pink royal icing.. My neighbor came over and ate cookies earlier.. it was nice to have company.. I've been down lately and I do need to go and get some artificial sun.. Something has happened to me here.. I've gotten pale in a hurry! :( I kinda like keeping my red tan.. though I mentioned tanning and Alex thought we were going to go spray tanning.. silly Alex :)

I went to my first pubquiz this week, with Rachel, Aoife, Aoife's Rachel and Aoife's Francis also on our team was Sarah from G&S. we had a great team.. so great that we won both the christmas round AND the whole quiz! it was a fight to the death and ended up being a tie.. so came the dart board round lol but we won :) it was between us (the Rafars) and the other team (The Vaginas). so we won a 30 pound gift cirtificate to the pub.. but not for drinks it had to be food but it was good :) though I'm completely convinced that it may have made me ill.. thats alright.

I also found out this week that everyone that doesn't know I"m in my masters program thinks I'm a teenager and a first year. wtf? seriously?

bahhh.. I need to go to bed...
