Day 33 - Sat 21 April - Arrowtown Festival Campsite
Woohoo - it's a fine day! We gathered to board our vintage buses to go down to Arrowtown. What a fun ride! Once in the village we headed for the French Patisserie for a sweet treat before wandering along the main street to the market. There were heaps of stalls there selling food, alpaca clothing, pickles etc. We caught up with Stuart and family and walked up to the Camping Ground to have lunch in their motorhome. The boys were excited to show us how everything worked and where they slept. They seem to be enjoying their holiday. Later we walked back down to town for the Grand Parade. There were lots of old vehicles and floats - very colourful! We were on the first busload back to the campsite - we needed to put our feet up! It was a good day out.
