Woke up around 8am to a beautiful sunny day. Sat outside and had a coffee and then began the breakfast marathon and schoolwork. Doris and George came past to say goodbye and gave the kids $10 to spend on ice cream. We finished off schoolwork, had lunch and set off for the beach in Inverloch. One the way to the beach we drilled the kids on all the work they had covered that morning and 20 minutes later they had all made enormous improvements. We decided to swim at the mouth of the estuary as it looked nice and calm but the water was deceptive and there was a very strong current. I sat under a tree and caught up on all our emails and the blog while the kids played and Nick swam - a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon. We headed home around 430pm and cooked sausages and veggies on the bbq. The camp is nearly empty now although the back packers still roll in as the sun sets! Katharine and I went for a small walk once we'd cleaned up and then everyone had a very quick shower and an early bed. Nick and I watched a couple of episodes of The Killing 2 and found it very difficult to turn it off and go to sleep!! Unfortunately the warm weather has bought the flies out and we were all dive bombed and buzzed making sleep difficult!
