Day 25 Manzarife to hospital de orbigo. 15-16 kms.
Started walking with the three Irish women that I shared a room with. Jackie Greta and Bernie. They were great to walk with and kept a steady pace. After a while I had to drop back. The pace was too much for my leg. Caught up in first cafe. Also met up with Victor Julio Lisette and their new friend Marie from South Africa. This proved a godsend as Marie gave me some arnica gel and it is good for my leg.
Marie and I will stick together til Ponferadda where I meet Hugh. Spent 2 til 8:00 resting in the sun.
Beautiful vegetarian meal tonight. Gaspschio soup. Burgers melon salad and potatoes.

Jenny Thank goodness you have made some good and useful friends. Sorry you are having trouble with your knee. Hope you have plenty of drugs!! Seem busy and it's cold here. Say hi to Hugh from me - a few weeks in Spain for you both, sounds wonderful. Lots love
