Hogmanay today!! Started the day by me and Whytey meeting up with Amy and heading over to see Beccy in Glebe and and show them where I used to live. We were gonna also have a wee picnic in the park at the end of the road but the weather was a bit rubbish so we didnt. Instead we walked down to Darling Harbour with Beccy so she could pick up her wages. Stopped off at the Dunkirk on the way past but there was noone really interesting in. Did get my pay summary from Dennis tho which was good as i need that for tax stuff.

So had lunch at Darling Harbour and then headed back to Beckys flat to get ready. Oh my god tho, the dress i'd bought for $20 that i was saving for new years broke!! I was so gutted i actually nearly cried! Amy tried to zip me in and the zip totally burst and i couldnt fix it, had to wear another dress so gutted :( So we had a few drinks while we were getting ready and Beccy and Amys friends Kate came round before we headed off to the party.

The flat we were in for new years was amazing! We were also so jammy to be there. Amy had met this couple, Sarah and Andrew, while travelling in South America and Andrews company put them up in this flat while they were getting settled back in Oz (they had been in UL for 3/4 years). So this flat is just near Circular Quay and from the flat itself you can see the Harbour Bridge. Then from the viewing deck on the 23rd floor we had the most amazing view of both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, couldnt really have asked for any better!! So there was Andrew and Sarah, me, Beccy, Whytey, Amy, Kate and two guys who i'm not really sure how they were known, I think one of them might have been called Trent but I have no idea what the other was called! So we all got drunk together and had lots of random banter and sang and danced. Had fireworks at 9pm and at midnight. Was a bit weird a midnight as we were not really sure when midnight actually was lol! We actually got told off for singing on the deck after the bells but itwas good fun!
