Woke up for our last morning in Canberra. Had the whole day to do stuff but funnily enough we just ended up sitting in the hostel again chatting to folk. There was Samantha and Tony (the Irish cousins), the Tazzy boys (Arron, Brady and Jono), one of the Irish boys whos name I cant remember and 2 boys from the Gold Coast whos names i also cant remember! So got up for another morning of house keeping and it took me and Beccy a bit longer than the day before. Even when we had finished doing it we just ended up lazing about chatting to a few folk in the hostel. Was actually really nice just sitting chatting with folk and to be honest it was far too hot to be outside anyway! Ended up making a massive salad with the Tazzy boys which was immense! Dont think i've ever seen such a big salad before and it was well yummy...

So I got up bright and early this morning to do my first day of house keeping! It wasnt actually too bad, except for the fact that we had to wait for bedding to be washed and dried before we could make up all the beds. However we did get showered and had lunch in the mean time. Me and Beccy had our touristy day in Canberra. We headed off to the parliament buildings, both old and new. We did the guided tour of the new parliament which was pretty interesting and we now know that Canberra was only built because Sydney and Melbourne couldnt decide who should be the capital so they decided to build somewhere new in the middle.
