Had a lovely day at Manly Beach. We set off from the hostel quite early to catch the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly so we had a full day on the beach, and i'm quite glad we did as it started to get cold about 3ish! So we found ourselves a nice wee spot and settled down for the day. Spent most of the day just sun bathing but after we had a late lunch, me and Harriett decided to try out the sea, it was freezing, pretty similar to Troon beach if am honest! However as Harriett's friends were there (Tom, Alex and Paddy) they were messing about and makin us more wet even tho we were so cold! However it wasn't actaully as bad when we were in, it was the coming out and trying to dry off that was making us the coldest! It was poor show from Becky who refused to come anywhere near the sea! Its weird tho, u cant really swim in the seas here cause there are so many waves, guess thats why surfers like it so much!

Later on we sat and played drinking games in the hostel, on a balcony overlooking the city. This was not a good idea as we were not having dinner until we went out! Plus me Becky and Harriett were drinking goon (cheap wine) so we ended up very drunk! Becky was so drunk in fact that she didnt even make it out and was sick in a bag lol! So we went for dinner in Burger King (not where we were originally planning to go) and i must admit it was really yummy! Then Alex and Paddy wanted to go to a kareoke bar which we could not find and we must hav walked so far that we had sobered up! So we ended up joining a Manderine club just for somewhere to go, but as we had sobered up me and Harriett couldnt even b bother drinking. The boys ended up going to an Irish club at the end but me and Harriett just gave up and went home to our beds and our wee drunk Becky :)
