Went to the Olympic Park today where they had the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, with Becky(Liverpool) and Harriett. Wasnt the best day to choose cause it was so windy and we all had shorts and dresses on so we were frozen. Think it might hav been worse than Troon! There wasnt actually that much to do there but not sure what I really expected there to be there. We wandered about the Olympic Park and looked at the different stadiums, but you couldnt really get in to any of them. There was a tour around the main ANZ stadium where they had the opening ceremony, but it cost $28 and I hav no money at the moment! We were also gonna go swimming in the Olympic Pool but the other girls decided they didnt want to do it and Ryan was phoning me later so thought I'd give it a miss this time, but I'll probably go back at another time when I hav money to do the tour and go swimming.

There was also an 18m high walkway that we did. It is apparently where they were going to build the tennis courts, not sure how this would have been possible as it was a quarry?! Anyway they werent allowed to build there because there were some special frogs there and I think I might have heard one at one point! It was quite scary walking along it because it was so windy, felt like you might be blown off into the water :S
