Had a total touristy day with Beccy and Sarah! Was not the best day for it cause it was raining that stupid drizzily rain that gets u totally soaked, but we had fun tho! We first went to The Rocks Discovery Museum and wandered around there. It was about the origin of The Rocks but to be honest was not very interesting. After that we went to Cadmans Cottage, which is the oldest private house in Sydney. Then we wandered round the edge of the harbour and took some photos from the top of the Overseas Passenger Terminal, from which there were amazing views of the harbour. We wandered round to Campbell's Cove and Campbell's Storehouses which have all been renovated and turned into fancy resturants. We then made our way round to Dawes Point and on the way saw the cutest wee bunny, was weird tho it didnt look like a wild bunny cause it was ginger and white, and later on Beccy saw a white rabbit so not entirely sure what kind of rabbits they hav in Sydney but they certainly are not like the ones back home!
Ended up stopping for lunch at Pancakes on The Rocks cause it started raining more and its so yummy in there! Couldnt even manage to finish mine cause it was so big! After that we headed to Millers Point, which gives you an amazing view over the harbour. You can see all the way from the Harbour Bridge to the Anzac Bridge. We had a wee nosey in the Garrison Church which is where the military went to worship when they were stationed at Dawes Point fort.
We then went to the Observatory Park where you can also see amazing views across the harbour from the Harbour Bridge to the Anzac Bridge. We also went into the Sydney Observatory which has a museum of astronomy in it. There was lots of different telescopes and things and we also learnt some of the Aborigonal staories about the moon and stars.
