Started my new job today in the Dunkirk Hotel, which is a pub btw its just what they call them here! I was only working 4 hours and it flew in cause it was so busy over lunch time! I really liked it tho and everyone seems friendly so hopefully I'll like it. Think I should be getting a minimum of 20 hours a week with hopefully more when people want time off, so it should suit me fine. Did have to buy new shoes and trousers for work. Now the shoes I got in a size 7, which were a bit tight in the shop but the 8s were falling off my feet, and they totally cut into my feet - I could hardly walk home! And the trousers I got in a size 12 and they kept falling down so i'll need to find meself a belt to hold them up cause am not buying a new pair of trousers as well as shoes!

Becky made me a Hariett fajitas for our dinner tonight in her flat. They were so yummy but tasted completely different from the UK ones! She also made nachos and wedges so we were totally stuffed! Her flat is quite nice. There are 6 girls living there. The bedrooms are quite small and the kitchen is tiny but the living area is quite big which is always good!
