Oh my god I went to the races today and totally loved it!! May chuck out the idea of becoming an engineer and take up gambling professionally instead lol! I put on a total of $60 of bets on and won back $63, making a grand total of $3 profit, woohoo, was well proud of myself lol!!!! Now Mother if u r reading this and think i'm spending riduclous amounts of money on gambling, thats only about 30 quid!

I went with Becky, Harriett and Ashley(?) to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse for our day of fun! It was ladies day and everyone was dressed up. We all had dresses on and flowers in our hair and i must say we all looked lovely! :) We also spent the day drinking sparkling rose wine and pink champagne, very classy compared to our usual goon and cider!

As for our betting, must admit i was the worst closely followed by Becky lol! I'm impressed that i now understand how to bet, confused me a tad before! On all the horses i bet $5 each way which means if they win or come 2nd or 3rd i win :) We missed the 1st two races. On the third i bet on Shadow Assassin and Speedskater, just couldnt choose, and i won $7. On the fourth i bet on Cloudygaze and won $40.50 which i was well chuffed at! On the 5th i bet on Ollie Vollie cause i liked the name and never won anythin. Didnt win anythin on the 6th race either with Our Vegas Dream. On the 7th, and our final race i won $17.50 on Danza Doll. All in all a very good day and i totally loved it!
