Today we drove back to Margaret River township again as there was a Christmas Fair organised in the local park there. In contrast to the Christmas Carols we attended in the same park two nights earlier, the Christmas Fair was a bit dull and was basically an extension of the local street market, not very Christmassy. We cheered ourselves up by going to the Fudge Factory, YUM!
We drove back to Busselton via Caves Road which takes you through the most beautiful country with several farms and wineries along the way it really is a picturesque part of WA.
This evening we decided to grab a pizza and go to the Busselton Jetty. It was such a beautiful evening! We sat and watched families loaded with fishing gear walk up the Jetty to that special spot that will hopefully produce some dinner for them. We walked the entire 1.8km length of the jetty and back but only a few fish and squid were being caught. It was so nice walking along talking to people and watching the sun set into the ocean, just awesome! We ended our day with a cuppa and some fudge, great day!
