So the weather has cracked up today and first thing on the morning there was a huge thunder and lightening storm. The good thing is I don't really have anything planned until the afternoon so I can stay indoors and out of the rain. Heli had a lunch to go to so I stayed in made some lunch and watched a film. At 5pm I took a bus into the city and met my friend Lu at the Botanical Gardens- unfortunately it was still raining so we went and sat under a tree in the park and chatted. After our chat we went to the supermarket and I asked a bunch of questions about strange foods that are sold in the supermarket. I then jumped on a bus to head back to Heli's and was told to get off and take bs on other side of street - I did and 1.5 hours later I was completely lost. Turns out bus driver when I asked if bus was going to Barracas had heard something else and confirmed - so there I was an hour and a half further out of city. To go with this bad luck it was also raining heavily and I had some trouble figuring out what bus I needed to take to get back to Heli's - eventually by 10:30pm I was back. I had agreed to make dinner but Heli had already started because I was so late, we made omelettes and milanesa and then chatted a bit before watching a film.
