As today is Sunday and I have a big week coming up and the fact it is pouring with rain outside means I can warrant doing not much today. After a good sleep-in I took an umbrella and went for a quick walk. Heli slept most of the day and when she got up we had lunch together at about 3pm (normal lunch hour here). The rain had eased a bit by late afternoon so I took the chance to go for another walk. In the evening we downloaded a comedy film and chilled out watching that for a few hours and then Heli treated me to a steak dinner. Heli cooked the best but of meat you can buy here; bife de chorizo - cooked on top if the stove until medium with a little pepper and garlic. The result the most mouth watering and delicious steak I think I have ever eaten - the marbled fat actually gave it flavouring and it was so soft it fell apart in your mouth. I was blown away by just how good it was as I know we also have very good steak in Australia but this was something else - I savored every bite and told myself I could never be a vegetarian after this experience. For dessert Heli had made an apple cinnamon cake with membrillo and not to offend I had to try and it was also delicious.
