Today Heli had to get up early to work so I got early also as I am on her fold-out sofa in the living room. I had to go into the city to pick up my Brazilian visa so at 10am I took a bus in. I had some time to kill so I walked around and tried to find somewhere to change dollars. I came across a little health food store and brought a few things so that I could bake a soy flour cake with nuts, seeds and good oils. I picked up my Brazil visa with no issues and I am so happy that it is all sorted - I thought the whole process was going to be a lot harder and more drawn out but it proved to be very easy and without too much drama. On the way back to Heli's I stopped at a few supermarkets and butchers to buy some food to prepare a special dinner for Heli. In the evening I went for another wonder around and once again came across some interesting shops where I could kill some time. Tonight Heli and I got to hang-out and chat which was nice, I cooked us a soy mince and beef Indian curry with salad and it turned out really good. After dinner we watched a new film out called Last Vegas starring Robert Dinero and Morgan Freeman and it was a good laugh. It was nice to have a quiet and relaxing night for a change as Buenos Aires has been go go go since I arrived.
