On Sunday we went to Hillaries on the wharf and had a lovely walk, lots of big boats to look at and many shops and restaurants. We took the coastal tourist road back to Byford stopping along the way and going for a walk along the lovely beaches, it was amazing how many people were on the beaches with their dogs, there are lots of dog friendly beaches which is great. At Mundijong where Jim has been working he has seen a lot of red-tailed black cockatoos, apparently there are on the endangered list, so he has been very lucky to see them. Tonight we are going to Kylies house to help her with her garden out the back, it will be good to catch up with everyone before we leave Perth. The weather has been very hot whilst we have been in Perth, we are heading off on Tuesday morning to continue our journey south.
