Living the dream
Our flight over the Bungle Bungles was great. Our pilot said it had been the best morning in ages because of they are always burning off, but lucky for us the rain the night before had settled some of the smoke.
While in Kununurra we also went to the Sandlewood factory and The Hoochery where I bought some Chocolate Rum Liquer, I hope it tastes as good as the one we got in Bunbaberg 2yrs ago.
We drove to Ivanhoe Crossing which used to be a road but since the building of the spillway in town it is closed.
We ran into a family with 4 children who left home in Feb 2012 and were making there way around AUS. They have been home schooling the kids but the dad said that no matter where they were in Feb the kids will be enrolled in school. Along the way they had also been picking up rubbish, they all had big Clean Up Australia garbage bags and wherever they stopped the kids would done their rubber gloves, grab their tongs and off they went. I think mum & dad were getting a bit worn out.
