We stayed at Broome for 3 nights Driving into Broome, it looked quite barron and dry. The beaches are lovely. It is amazing to see how far the tides go out, we are not used to it. We stayed at Cable Beach Caravan Park it was really nice and Jim made good use of the pool. You can't go swimming because of the stingers.

On Thursday night we decided to go to the cinema to see The Sapphires, it was a really good show and it was really nice having a breeze while you where watching the film. The bats were flying over the top of us, thankfully they didn't land on us.

The fan on our air conditioner had been getting quite noisy so when we arrived in Broome we rang a repair man and he couldn't get there till Friday, that was fine as the air con was still working, finally Friday morn it stopped working. The repair man said he could no longer make it so he put us in touch with another repairer, we had a very hot day and night. I slept in the chairs outside and Jim had a very uncomfortable night in the van. Sat morning before we left Broome for Eighty Mile Beach we had the repair done and within half an hour we were on our way.
