We did our first spot of entertaining in our new apartment last night as we welcomed Chris and Kat to our place for dinner.

Chris is a fellow Hypo promoter from Newcastle who has been showing me the ropes for the first couple of weeks and Kat is his better half who has been telling him the job is stupid (sounds familiar). They are due to head off to continue their travels in a couple of weeks so we thought it would be a great time to test out our hosting skills.

After some food and many drinks it was hard to remember whether we were the hosts with the most or indeed just served up beans on toast. Suffice to say today's headaches suggest that it went well.
