We left Nananu-i-ra at 7:15am on the boat that does the school run to the mainland and then caught a taxi all the way back to Nadi and could immediately feel the difference in the temperature, just as we had hoped. We left sunny Nadi at 8.30am yesterday morning and arrived back on Nananu-i-ra around one o'clock in the afternoon due to the rules of Fiji Time! It was lovely and sunny when we arrived so we sat outside in a couple of hammocks for a while to soak up a little more sun before heading in for some much needed homemade food. We have spent the last eight days in Ratu Kini's on Mana Island in the Mamanuca's, and have just returned to the mainland before we go off to Nananu-I-Ra again for our last four days in Fiji. We met the girls at the airport just after four o'clock a couple of days ago, which was a strange experience in itself. After leaving Nanau-i-ra yesterday morning we began the final leg of our journey around the mainland of Fiji back towards Nadi. After the boat ride back across the water, we were on the bus once more with T and Pops as we headed south along the west coast.
