Well, we have now been living in our humble new abode for all of two days and we are loving it!

Once the Scots left the campsite we had a couple of days remaining before we could move in here and although they went quick enough we were extremely glad to leave and get away from the cold. We were so keen to move in that we arrived on Friday before all the furniture had been moved in and ended up using our camping mattress for the night! After spending the day walking around South Bank yesterday, we arrived back to a full complement of furnishings except for curtains or blinds, so we will be having some fairly early mornings as the sun pours into the bedroom until that is sorted out.

Tomorrow will be our first day at work without having to negotiate the flooded paths and potholes of the campsite, which will be a strange concept for us both, and we are now starting to get ourselves sorted out with a 'normal' routine for the first time since we left the UK.

We will wait to see how we settle into everyday Aussie life!
